In this segment we discuss the recent $300,000 damages award made by the NSW District Court against a social media influencer who was seen to defame another social media influence ('Sir-eats-a-lot) Martin calling him a racist and other defamatory remarks. In this country we have real protection laws against defamation and they will be enforced if need be by the courts. We live in a social media era which is, for better or worse, underpinning our social culture and system. This is a very good lesson for those out there that believe they can say whatever they like on social media against another person or organisation. This could not be further from the truth.

The show was designed to give back to the community which Despina did in droves.
